About the breed
The Finnish Lapphund (or Finnish Lapponian Dog) (Finnish: Suomenlapinkoira [ˈsuo̯menˌlɑpinˌkoi̯rɑ]) is a hardy, easy-going, medium-size breed of Spitz type. Traditionally it has been used for herding reindeer.
